Participation in the national contest "Made for Europe", Arad, 2015

Four students from the county of Maramures, Romania, took part in the National contest called "Made for Europe" which is a program organised by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, in which the best practices in European projects are disseminated at national level. The contest took place in the period 6-8 April 2015, in Arad, in the west of Romania. The students who represented Maramures County at this contest are: Cipriana Roxana Popan, from Scoala Gimnaziala "Vasile Alecsandri" Baia Mare, Oana Corpodean, from Scoala Gimnaziala "Avram Iancu" Baia Mare, Carina Tamas from Colegiul Economic "Pintea Viteazul" Cavnic, and Denis Mihaiu from Colegiul Tehnic "George Baritiu" Baia Mare. They got prizes for their performance. Congratulations to the students and their teachers!

Our project "My European Penfriends" was represented by Cipriana Popan, from grade 4B and she won the 4th prize. We are very proud of her performance in this national contest.

Her teacher, Daniela Buda, chaperoned the students at the contest.

Patru elevi din Maramures: Cipriana Roxana Popan, de la Scoala Gimnaziala "Vasile Alecsandri" Baia Mare, Oana Corpodean, de la Scoala Gimnaziala "Avram Iancu" Baia Mare, Carina Tamas, de la Colegiul Economic "Pintea Viteazul" Cavnic si Denis Mihaiu, de la Colegiul Tehnic "George Baritiu" Baia Mare, au participat, in perioada 6-8 aprilie 2015, la faza nationala a Concursului national "Made for Europe" editia a IX-a, la Arad. La aceasta activitate de diseminare a proiectelor scolare finantate de catre Uniunea Europeana, ei au prezentat la concurs produsele realizate in cadrul proiectelor europene in care sunt implicate scolile lor. Elevii maramureseni au reprezentat judetul nostru cu cinste la concurs si au luat premii. Felicitari elevilor si profesorilor care i-au indrumat.

Proiectul nostru “My European Penfriends” a fost reprezentat de Cipriana Popan, din clasa a 4-a B si a luat Menţiune. Suntem mândri de realizarea ei in acest concurs national.

Our favorite sports are: handball, football, tennis.

 The best handball team  from  Maramures is HCM Baia Mare

 The best football team from Maramures is FC Baia Mare

The best Romanian tennis player is Simona Halep.

Sports in Spain

Dear friends:I am going to explain you which sports are popular in Spain. People like watching football, basketball, handball, volleyball, tennis, car races (formula 1), motorbikes races, cycling, athletics …The most famous sports men in Spain are :Messi and Iniesta, who play at the Barcelona Football Club.

 Cristiano and Casillas play in Real Madrid Football Club.

 

Griezmann and Torres play in Atletico de Madrid Football Club.

(Some of these players play in Spain but they are not Spanish.)
Rafa Nadal is the most important tennis player in Spain.

Fernando Alonso is the most famous car driver.
 

Marc and Alex Marquez are brothers.

They won the motorbikes world championship.

In Mucia, our region, people can practice football, basketball, futsal, cycling, trekking, motocross, climbing swimming, fishing, tennis, paddle…

In my school we play football basketball, rugby, baseball, running…
Adrian: I play multisport on Mondays. I usually watch football and basketball on TV.
Antonio Ángel: I play tennis, football and basketball with my twin-brother. I usually watch football and basketball on TV.

News flash :Made for Europe

Our project blog has taken part in the national contest called "Made for Europe"in March 2015 at regional level and it won the 1st prize. So it will go the national level in April to Arad, together with the representatives from other 3 schools from Maramures.

Our project will be represented by Cipriana Popan, from grade 4B.

Blogul proiectului nostru a primit locul 1 la concursul national "Made for Europe" 2015, faza judeteana, in martie 2015. Asa ca vom merge si la faza nationala, la Arad, in aprilie, impreuna cu reprezentantii de la celelalte scoli din Maramures, calificate pentru faza nationala: Colegiul Tehnic "George Baritiu" Baia Mare, Colegiul Economic "Pintea Viteazul" din Cavnic si Scoala Gimnaziala "Avram Iancu" Baia Mare..

Proiectul Scolii Gimnaziala "Vasile Alecsandri" din Baia Mare va fi reprezentat la Arad de eleva Cipriana Popan din clasa a 4-a B, cea care a prezentat produsul nostru si la faza judeteana.
